Stuart's Well Gran Fondo 2026
07:15 – 14:30
The Stuart’s Well Gran Fondo is the first of Alice Springs Cycling Club's three glorious Gran Fondo rides that we hold each year.  It is a favourite for both those who want to aim for a PB and those that want a social ride with majestic views and a pretty awesome BBQ at the finish.  A bus and bike trailer will take you back to Alice (spaces are limited so please book). Families and friends are very welcome as long as they book (we like to cater for everyone) and have their own transport home. At just over 90k you need a reasonable level of fitness for this event, but a bus following the last riders will pick up anyone who is struggling.  There is a social category, who will all ride together for the distance.  You can also start this ride at the prison if you want it a bit shorter (be sure to let the organisers know).  Because it is not a race, you are able to enter on an AusCycling Lifestyle membership, which gives you third party insurance cover for peace of mind. Check out Lifestyle membership here https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/lifestyle .  All riders will need to show proof of membership (download your membership to your phone wallet). Details: Sign on at the old Memo car park cnr Gap Rd and Stuart Tce at 7.30 for a 7.40am start. Neutral ride to opposite the prison on Stuart Hwy. Option to start at the prison. Finish at Stuart’s Well for BBQ lunch (riders to bring a salad or cake/biscuits).  REGISTRATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL BY WED 25 MARCH - FREE ENTRY - HIT "GET TICKETS" BUTTON BELOW             Please book the bus separately for each rider. The bus will return riders to Alice Springs approximatley 2.30pm. Bikes will be transferred in the ASCC bike trailer. Riders and bikes will be dispersed at the old Memo Club carpark.  If you are organising your own transport and can fit in another person, please let Aaron Hester or Rebecca Duncum know All riders are requested to bring a salad or dessert. These can be dropped off to the lead vehicle at the start of the race, as can a change of shoes. NOTE - BRING PLENTY OF WATER, SNACKS AND SUNSCREEN

2025 ASCC Annual General Meeting and Awards Night
Cameron Street
18:00 – 20:00
Please come and join your fellow club members for the annual general meeting, BBQ and awards presentations at 6pm on Saturday Oct 25 at the clubrooms. Please consider nominating for the 2025-26 committee. Meetings are held at the clubrooms on the first Tuesday of every month and committee members contribute to making decisions about our events, facilities maintenance, local cycling advocacy and promotion. It's a great group of people and a rewarding job. A link to the meeting agenda and associated documents is here http://thq.fyi/sm/b38e9e50397f333a Tradition dictates that the ASCC provides BBQ, bread, sauce, beer and wine at the meeting, and that members bring an array of accompanying salads and desserts. The food is always great! Please RSVP by registering so we can cater appropriately.
