The first series of CX on the new track. Desert CycloCross is a fun social event that anyone can join, with any bike and any Auscycling licence. Its all about fun on a mix of dirt and concrete. Enjoy a fast lap around the velodrome, and then leap over a few hurdles and take a muddy corner here and there. We recommend a mountain bike, but any bike can be used. We also suggest lights for the events later in the series.
Gates open at 6.00pm, with racing starting at 6.30pm, so bring bike lights. This is a 4 week series that will end with a Pizza night on the last night for all involved. All riders need a valid AusCycling licence, either a Lifestyle or All Race.
