Individual Handicap #2

This is a fun race for all abilities. Start at Flynn’s Grave car park, ride Larapinta Drive to turn-around at 10km, return to start and repeat (two laps of 20km = 40km total). Riders will be handicapped based on recent performances and form and will be at the discretion of the officials.   To save time at sign up on the day you can pre-register below through the ticket function.

A handicap race is a road race where riders are given different start times to give riders of differing abilities the chance of finishing the race at the same time. 

Handicap start times are determined by the club race officials. This job requires a lot of skill to work out a fair start time for each rider given the distances of races vary along with the degree of difficulty and weather conditions on the day. Handicap start times for individual riders may vary from race to race as the handicapper takes into consideration past performances and other feedback from races.
