This Time Trial #1 is a Short Course TT over 10km along Darken Drive, Simpsons Gap.
Registration, Start and finish are at the ranger station. The course will travel 5km towards Simpsons Gap from the Rangers station and return (turn-around at 5km).
An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock. Each rider departs at set intervals and must race alone (no drafting) to complete the course. This is a great way to enter cycle racing as you do not need to understand group riding etiquette, it is purely you and your bike against the clock.
To enter this event you require Auscycling membership. Membership types for entry into a Time Trial, include All Race, Lifestyle or Race Off Road (mtb). To obtain membership go to the Auscycling website at https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership
